In case the oil inlet flow is not constant and/or it is not possible to fix the quantity it is absolutely necessary to install a valve in order to limit the flow and protect the pump from high speed.

Neròn can supply a flanged device to be connected directly to the oil inlet and outlet nipples on the bottom side of the pump.

The block named RF, has a valve capable to handle a flow of 80 l/m and can absorb possible back shocks coming from the main hydraulic system.

The valve supplies a constant flow of 24 l/m up to a maximum of 25 l/m, which is the max flow accepted for the Neròn pump.

Oil inlet protection device with nipples for HPP & HPX

In case no pressure control valve is available in the main hydraulic system or the safety valve installed up front is calibrated with higher values on respect to the maximum performance of the Neròn pump, it is possible to control also the pressure.

Neròn can supply a flanged device to be connected directly to the oil inlet and outlet nipples on the bottom side of the pump.

The protection block named RFP has two valves. One is capable to handle a flow of 70 l/m and can absorb possible back shocks coming from the main hydraulic system. The valve supplies a constant flow of 21 l/m, at 100 bar and, in case of higher pressure, can allow in max 24 l/m, which is the ideal flow for the Neròn pump.

The other valve is a pressure control valve  and protects the HPP and HPX from any possible pressure peaks. The valve is calibrated at the Neròn premises, respecting the client demand and, can handle a maximum pressure of 400 bar.
